It’s almost September, and for those who don’t want to think about pumpkin beers and summer ending yet, FoMu is thinking of you. The dairy-free ice cream shop is riding the pop-up wave and just opened up its newest temporary satellite in Back Bay.
FoMu’s original location is in Allston, and it has two others in Jamaica Plain and the South End. After a brief time spent popping up in Inman Square, FoMu headed to Fenway, where it will stay until the end of September, and now it will also be in residence at 144 Newbury St. until October 2.
FoMu serves ice cream that is vegan-friendly and kosher, and many of the flavors and toppings are also soy-free and gluten-free. The Newbury Street shop will operate from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week.
Update: The Fenway pop-up may be around through the end of the year, not just the end of September. Stay tuned for updates.
