RFK Kitchen Gets Closer to an Opening Date in Needham

A new Needham restaurant from a veteran of Boston’s dining world is deep in the midst of its buildout, working towards a fall opening. RFK Kitchen, courtesy of Rachel Klein (Liquid Art House, OM, Mandarin Oriental), received its walk-in refrigerator last week and is in the process of installing custom lounge-style seating in the restaurant, according to posts on Facebook.

Klein lives in Needham with her family and previously told Eater that she was "looking forward to contributing to a town that [she's] personally invested in." RFK Kitchen will serve globally-influenced new American cuisine, with an touch of classic New England ingredients.

RFK Kitchen brought on two Liquid Art House alumni to join the team: former Top Chef contestant Stacy Cogswell will serve as chef de cuisine, and Crystal Hovland will be the restaurant’s pastry chef. Quang Tran, formerly of the Kiawah Island Golf Resort, will be the sous chef.
