Cape Update: Fishermen’s View Is Now Open in Sandwich

A new spot for seafood in Sandwich made its debut last night and will have one more day of only dinner service before transitioning the operation to its regular hours. Fishermen’s View, located at 20 Freezer Rd., is the work of two longtime fishermen, Denny and Bob Colbert, and specializes in "boat-to-table" dishes, as previously reported.

The aptly named restaurant overlooks the canal and is situated next to the Sandwich Marina. Fishermen's View also has a retail market, which is now open limited hours and will shift to its regular schedule within the next few days. The Colbert brothers have additional plans to open a take-out window and will share more details on its progress in the days to come. They acquired the land for Fishermen’s View in August of 2015 and have documented the buildout of restaurant on Facebook.
