Loui Loui Louisiana Seafood Is Coming to Allston

It’s taking over the former Bravo Pizza space

A Stoneham restaurant that specializes in Cajun seafood is making its way into the city, and it will be just down the road from a similar concept. Loui Loui Louisiana Seafood will take over the former Bravo Pizza space at 160 Brighton Ave., about half a mile down the road from another Cajun seafood spot, and it could open in the next two months, according to an employee reached at the Stoneham location Wednesday. The place is currently under construction.

Loui Loui — along with Holly Crab on Commonwealth Avenue and Shaking Crab in Newton — has been part of a recent influx of Southern-style seafood into the Boston area, and the wave continues to roll with this new location.

The stretch of Brighton Avenue that Loui Loui will call home has seen a fair amount of new restaurants in recent months. It will be located next door to Iron Kitchen (which recently took over for the short-lived Wabora Prime), a few doors down from the new Korean fusion concept Coreanos, and further down the road from the Korean-Mexican spot Olitoki, which opened in May.
