Don’t let the name of this new restaurant throw you off: Seaport Grille will not open in Boston’s Seaport District, but rather in Brighton near the New Balance world headquarters, Boston Restaurant Talk reported.
The restaurant is the work of the Beauport Hospitality Group, and its original location is located in Gloucester. Seaport Grille will be situated in Guest Street’s Boston Landing complex. It will seat 274 people inside, including 37 at the bar, plus some seasonal seating outdoors, and it will serve lunch and dinner seven days a week.
Seaport Grille is now hiring an executive chef, according to a post on BostonChefs.com, and it will feature the same New England cuisine as its sister restaurant, including soups and appetizers, salads, burgers, sandwiches, pizzettas, and Gloucester lobsters. There are also special seafood platters, plus fish and chips, baked fish, mussels, and more. Its lobster roll was awarded the 2015 "best of the North Shore" title by Northshore Magazine.
