A Texas-based restaurant chain plans to open a new restaurant in Massachusetts, this time landing in Westwood and taking up residence in a mixed-use development plaza. Del Frisco’s Grille will occupy a 7,500-square-foot space in University Station with Target and Wegmans, planning to open in the second half of 2017, the Boston Business Journal reported.
Del Frisco’s Grille serves a menu with plenty of steak, shareable appetizers (dubbed "food to fight over" on the menu) from cheesesteak egg rolls to ahi tacos, flatbreads, salads ("ruffage"), "two-fisted" sandwiches, and more.
Del Frisco’s Grille has two other locations in Massachusetts — Chestnut Hill and Burlington — and its big, fancier sibling concept, Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse, has a location in Boston’s Seaport District.
