A nostalgia chain restaurant that specializes in boundless flavors of wings has two locations set to open in the Greater Boston area, with one opening imminently in Medford and one later this summer in East Boston's Central Square, according to Boston Restaurant Talk. The Texas-based Wingstop will make its local debut tomorrow at 11 a.m. at 678 Fellsway in Medford.

The chain was founded in Garland, TX in 1994 and now has more than 900 locations worldwide. Wingstop serves 11 flavors of wings (regular, boneless, and tenders), french fries, and more. The flavors range in heat from teriyaki to atomic, and there are mid-level spice options like Louisiana rub and hickory smoked barbecue.

This move has apparently been in the works for some time, as the chain first announced its plans to open locations in this area in 2008.
