North Attleboro residents and deeply devoted Aerosmith fans can kick off the holiday weekend with some coffee from Rockin’ & Roastin’ Cafe, which opens its doors today at 551B South Washington St.

The coffee shop and its lineup of brews are the work of Joey Kramer, the drummer of Aerosmith, who kicked off the store’s opening day serving coffee from the drive-thru. Kramer co-owns the venture with his partners, Ron Mann and Frank Cimler, as previously reported, and this is the first Rockin’ & Roastin’ location in Massachusetts. Rockin’ & Roastin’ has a cafe and restaurant in Maine, which also serves the full array of the brand’s organic coffees.

This cafe was designed with the help of Kramer’s wife, Linda, and features a sign bearing the Rockin’ & Roastin’ dragon. It also has seasonal patio seating and free wifi. In addition to Rockin’ & Roastin’ coffees, the cafe serves pastries, muffins, breakfast sandwiches, and more.

The official ribbon-cutting ceremony for the North Attleboro cafe was at 9 a.m. this morning.
