Development projects around Boston are on the rise, and one forthcoming Seaport hotel will be home to a restaurant called The Social Register, according to Boston Restaurant Talk. The Aloft Boston Seaport Hotel is located at 401-403 D St. near Lawn on D, which is a prime foot traffic area in the summer months.

The Social Register will apparently operate in a space on the first floor of the 13-story hotel, per a City of Boston licensing page. It will seat 82 in one bar area, 96 in the main dining room, and another 22 at a second bar area. There will also be weather-conditional patio seating for 30 people.

Aristocrat Hospitality, the team behind The Social Register (which was previously going to be called Aloft Lounge), has years of experience operating restaurants and venues around Boston. The group is comprised of Russ deMariano, Ed Brooks, and Thomas Garcia. (According to the same licensing page, Aloft Lounge is looking to transfer its 7-day malt, wine, and liqueurs license to Boston Nightlife Ventures' forthcoming Certified Meatball Company.)

DeMariano and Brooks are also behind The Brahmin, and they have teamed up with Christopher Roche for a new restaurant that will replace Gerard's in Dorchester, as previously reported.
