Some restaurant shuffling is about to go down in Medford, and a Rhode Island-based Korean restaurant is set to open a new location on Riverside Avenue. Sura BBQ will take over the previous Chung Ki Wa space, according to Boston Restaurant Talk, offering hot pot as well as all-you-can-eat barbecue.
The 27 Riverside Ave. spot had housed Chung Ki Wa for more than 10 years. Sura BBQ has been around since 1997 and has two locations in Rhode Island, according to the Boston location's Facebook page. The restaurant offers full-service dining and a broad range of Korean cuisine.
Sura posted a menu online that shows details of the courses available for the all-you-can-eat barbecue, as well as a range of hot pot options, including rice noodles, tofu, clams, mussels, and more. The menu for Sura in Rhode Island features everything from scallion pancakes to fried dumplings and spicy squid stone pot bibimbap.
