A popular Fort Point brewery that expanded its operation to Canton in December will finally open its taproom for in-house draft tastings today at 12 p.m. today, according to Boston Magazine. Trillium Brewing Company's 16,000-square-foot space at 110 Shawmut Rd. in Canton gave it some much-needed additional brewing capacity, and now it will also offer the brewery's loyal following an opportunity to sample its beers.

The taproom will operate with a "tasting card" system where guests can sample up to 20 ounces of Trillium beer per visit. "Our goal is to provide a fun and engaging experience for regulars and first-time visitors alike," the brewery's website reads. Pours are available in five ounces or 10 ounces, and staff will keep track of guests' pours on the tasting cards.

Trillium's taproom remains separate from its retail space, where people can purchase bottles, growlers, and other merchandise. Available beers will be on display in the taproom each day, as well as on the brewery's website. The taproom will be open Monday through Saturday from 12 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
