A local bakery with a handful of locations in Boston plans to add another to the lineup this summer when it opens its doors in the Seaport District. Sorelle Bakery & Cafe will be coming to 100 Northern Ave., according to Boston Restaurant Talk.
Sorelle posted a rendering of the new cafe on its Facebook page, and it will apparently make its debut later this summer, serving its lineup of coffee, tea, and other beverages, as well as pastries and other breakfast items like quiches, egg sandwiches, steel-cut oatmeal and bagels. The cafe also offers lunch options from soups and salads to an extensive list of sandwiches (both pressed and not) and wraps, and it makes its own sauces, dressings, and spreads from scratch.
There are three other Sorelle Bakery & Cafe locations around the city, the first of which opened on Main Street in Charlestown in 1989, with a second Charlestown location following in 2003 and finally one on Boston's Atlantic Wharf in 2011.
