A longtime restaurateur in the South Shore is behind a new concept slated to open at the Hingham Shipyard (home of the original Wahlburgers, Alma Nove, and several other restaurants). Trident Galley & Raw Bar is now hiring employees and will open at the end of August, according to a post on Craigslist.
Trident owner John Brian Houlihan also owns The Tinker’s Son in Norwell and Bia Bistro in Cohasset, and he is co-owner of The Galley Kitchen & Bar in Scituate. He has also worked as executive chef at the Bostonian and the Four Seasons, Patch reported. Trident takes over for Union Fish at 23 Shipyard Dr.
The restaurant will feature tapas-style small plates focusing on local and sustainable ingredients, as well as a vast raw bar, according to the job posting. There will also be wine and cocktails. Houlihan reportedly said Trident Galley would be similar to his Scituate venue, but with a heavier food focus.
Trident is now hiring for all positions.
