A Florida-based craft beer bar with more than 50 locations all around the country opens its first Boston-area restaurant next month, bringing a sweeping number of hopped and malted options to CambridgeSide Galleria. World of Beer is in the process of putting the final touches on its new space and will be ready for summer beer revelers for its official opening on July 11.
World of Beer took over the former California Pizza Kitchen space, as previously reported, overhauling the location to accommodate the restaurant’s 500 varieties of bottled beer, 60-plus tapped beers, and a tavern-style menu.
It may take a while to work through the entire beverage menu at World of Beer, so if you come for the beer and stay for the snacks, expect to see some classic pub-style options, including German pretzels, mac and cheese, tacos, burgers, sandwiches, and more.
