A suburban restaurant that temporarily shut down following a fire could reopen as early as this week. Coach Grill closed back in April after a fire swept through the restaurant and caused a large amount of damage, Boston Restaurant Talk reported.
The Wayland restaurant, located at 55 Boston Post Rd., underwent renovations for months as crews worked to repair the approximate $200,000 worth of damage to the historic space. Incidentally, an earlier incarnation of the restaurant burned down in the 1970s and was rebuilt, according to the restaurant’s website.
Coach Grill has posted some updates about the renovations on its Facebook page, and a post from the restaurant yesterday indicates that it could reopen later this week, but further updates would be provided as the week progressed. Coach Grill’s menu features a lineup of New England comfort foods, including items like steaks, Maine lobster, rotisserie chicken, swordfish and lobster risotto, and much more.
