A new spot for sushi is so close to being open in Cambridge. Le’s Sushi Bar and Restaurant took over the space at 425 Cambridge St. where Ciampa Apothecary used to be, as previously reported, and now it's almost ready for business.

An employee reached at the restaurant Thursday morning said the restaurant will open next week. The Le’s website is up and running, featuring a substantial menu. The appetizers include gyoza, wings, egg rolls, and assorted tempura, and there is a lineup of salads and sides. Le’s also offers Vietnamese pho, including shredded chicken, shrimp, beef, and vegetable options.

Additionally, there is fried rice, pad thai, udon noodles, fried lo mein, and lunch and dinner special dishes. The sushi menu features a long list of sashimi options, plus nigiri, hand rolls, maki, special rolls, and featured combos. There’s also dessert, if you can get that far.

Le's joins a bustling part of East Cambridge that boasts a handful of new restaurants, as well as some older neighborhood staples.
