A local burger spot with two locations has closed up its restaurant in Beacon Hill, Boston Restaurant Talk reported. Griddler's Burgers + Dogs posted a notice at its 204 Cambridge St. spot that it would be moving on from that location. The least on the space had expired, according to Patch.
Griddler's first opened in 2011, debuting its menu of pre-fab burgers and dogs, plus customizable menu items, desserts, and more. Griddler's is part of Boston Nightlife Ventures, which includes the newly opened Southern Kin, along with Wink & Nod and The Tap Trailhouse.
Boston Nightlife Ventures released a statement about the closure:
After 5 successful years of business, Griddler's Burgers + Dogs location at Cambridge Street in Beacon Hill has reached the end of their lease and is closed. Boston Nightlife Ventures, the burgeoning restaurant group which also owns and operates Wink & Nod, The Tap Trailhouse and the recently debuted Southern Kin, will continue to expand the Griddler's Burgers + Dogs brand into new neighborhoods in 2016 and beyond.
Stay tuned to find out where and when new Griddler's restaurants will pop up around Boston.
