Visitors strolling around the South End Open Market at Ink Block this weekend can now do so with accompanying alcoholic beverages. Thanks to a new partnership with Crash Line Productions, the market will start selling Sam Adams beer, along with rosé, prosecco, and mimosas from Wicked Wines.

Angry Orchard hard cider and Truly Spiked & Sparkling hard seltzer will also be available. The beers and ciders will be priced at $5, while the prosecco and mimosas will be $6. This new partnership comes just in time for peak outdoor dining season, where people flock to rooftops and patios to snack and imbibe al fresco.

The South End Open Market recently split from SoWa and is now located nearby at 375 Harrison Ave. The competitive saga between the two markets continues with this new addition to the Ink Block market's lineup. SoWa has a boozy partnership of its own, having debuted a beer and wine garden in the Harrison Ave Trolley Barn last month, in a partnership with Eat Boston and Wine Riot.

The Ink Block market is open Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. until October 30, and the beer and wine service will be available from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the duration of the season starting Sunday. SoWa is also open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays through October 30 — and adds Saturdays this month. The SoWa beer and wine garden runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays through the end of the market season.
