Can’t wait to greet every day with a bowl of customized oatmeal at Oat Shop, opening this fall at an undisclosed Davis Square location? Good news: You don’t have to wait until fall. The Middle Gray — a cafe, bar, and art space at 6 Station St. in Brookline — is hosting the forthcoming oatmeal concept for a few weeks this summer.
Starting on Monday, June 27, Oat Shop will take over The Middle Gray’s cafe space for "the next few weeks" (more details, including hours, to come later). Diners can expect "creative oatmeal bowls, both sweet and savory," according to an announcement on The Middle Gray’s Facebook page.
The Middle Gray’s cafe is actually taking a bit of a hiatus for the summer, starting today, but the space will continue to host pop-ups like this, as well as live music, readings, screenings, classes, and other artistic events, and food and drinks will be served on these occasions. Plus, the gallery will be open to the public from Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., beginning on June 20.
UPDATE, 6/22/16: The Oat Shop will pop up at The Middle Gray on Mondays and Tuesdays from 8 a.m. to noon, starting on June 27.
