P.S. Gourmet has opened its third location, according to an announcement on Facebook. It's in the former Vouros Pastry Shop space at 4252 Washington St., as previously reported.
The coffee shop trio is known for its huge range of coffee flavors, from brownie toffee crunch to mint chocolate chip and beyond, and drinks are served in "regular" and "bucket" sizes. There are also breakfast sandwiches, baked goods, and a variety of other beverages, including rickeys and hot chocolate.
The first P.S. Gourmet opened as a convenience store (with coffee) in 1986 in South Boston's Perkins Square (hence the "P.S.") and rebranded into more of a coffee shop in 2004 before expanding to Dorchester in 2012.
In other Roslindale caffeine news, the planned expansion of Mission Hill-based Green T Coffee Shop is expected to open up at 873 South St. in the next week or two, according to Universal Hub. The original location offers breakfast and lunch items, including bagels and wraps, as well as a late-night menu on Fridays and Saturdays through 3 a.m. The new Roslindale location only requested approval to operate until midnight.
