An upcoming Charlestown restaurant is making progress and appears to be very close to opening its doors, according to a tip Eater received. Blackmoor Bar and Kitchen, set to open at 1 Chelsea St., is now hiring for all positions and has its tavern-style menu ready to go.

According to the tipster, Blackmoor had its lights on and televisions inside this weekend, and flowers were being planted on the patio. The restaurant is the work of Olde Magoun's Saloon and Copper House Tavern owner Gregory Coughlin, and it will offer "34 rotating draughts, elite bottled beers, cask ale, draught wine, craft spirits and custom cocktails," in addition to its lineup of burgers, sandwiches, flatbreads, and more, according to its website.

Blackmoor will be able to seat 240 people when it opens, including 100 people at its bar. There will be a wide range of weekly events, including fried chicken dinners, Sunday roasts, and limited and special releases of beers.

While the restaurant does not yet have an official opening date, it could hold some soft open days within the next month, per a recent post.
