Blackmoor Bar + Kitchen has softly opened in the former Papagayo space in Charlestown, according to Boston Restaurant Talk. The new pub will feature a limited menu during this phase, but stay tuned for a grand opening and the full range of its New England, Asian, and Mediterranean fare.
This new restaurant is the latest addition to Gregory Coughlin's local empire, which includes Olde Magoun's Saloon in Somerville and Copper House Tavern in Waltham. Blackmoor will feature a similarly impressive list of draft beers, along with bottled beers, cask ales, wines, and cocktails.
Its food menu, now posted on its website, features a mix of cuisine, including Southern fried chicken, a Korean-style Reuben, a char-grilled lamb burger, flatbread pizzas, steak tips, pork schnitzel, and much more.
A recent post on Facebook indicates that the soft opening is officially on, and the grand opening will be coming soon, according to a rep. Blackmoor is located at 1 Chelsea St., and its hours will be 11:30 a.m. to 1 a.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
