A new seafood restaurant from noted Boston restaurateur Donato Frattaroli is poised to open soon in the North End, taking over the former Davide Restaurant space. Il Molo is now hiring for all restaurant staff positions, according to a post on Craigslist.
Il Molo announced plans to open at 326 Commercial St. in January, promising "serious seafood" for the North End. A menu for the restaurant already appears on its website, and headline items include salads, appetizers like Maine prawns a la plancha and grilled Spanish octopus, oysters, selected tapas, homemade pasta, and an array of "big plates." In that department, there are options like Cape Ann swordfish, herb crusted cod, and roasted salmon. The menu also features a selection of white and red wines.
When it opens, the restaurant's hours will be Monday through Thursday from 5 to 11 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., according to the website.
