An annex of a popular South End coffee shop officially opened downtown in a building that houses a co-working space, according to Boston Restaurant Talk. Render Coffee at 121, as it is known, opened Thursday, bringing its lineup of pour-over and espresso drinks to the hustle and bustle of downtown Boston.
For this new location, Render is introducing a drip coffee program to accommodate morning commuters. The cafe serves coffee from Tandem and Gracenote, as well as a selection of pastries. The 90-seat space caters to its environment with an adjoining meeting space for events, classes, and more, as previously reported.
Render's owner Chris Dadey opened the first location in 2011. A Twitter post from Downtown Boston BID offered a look inside the new Render, which includes communal tables and a chalkboard menu hanging behind the counter. This new location is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.
