Hojoko Launches Daily Lunch With Rice 'Crispy' Bowls, Ramen, and More

Take a peek at the lunch menu, debuting today

A couple weeks ago, Tiger Mama launched daily lunch, and Saloniki opened, bringing more daily lunch to Fenway. Today, add one more option to the list: Hojoko is now serving lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. every day.

The izakaya-inspired restaurant brings a few of its dinner dishes to lunch, such as a cheeseburger, the "funky chicken" ramen, and a couple sushi rolls (spicy tuna and California). Lunch-specific items include a few salads, a couple sandwiches (pork belly or fried chicken), and rice "crispy" bowls. The bowls feature, yes, crispy rice, along with a variety of included and optional ingredients such as chicken thigh, bacon, fried egg, and avocado.

For those seeking a little gentle lunchtime booze, try the Strawberry Fields or Sherry Cobbler. There's also beer, sake, wine, and stronger cocktails, including some frozen treats.
