A favorite college spot for filled crepe goodness has reopened in a new location, now firmly planted in the middle of Boston University's campus. Crispy Crêpes Café closed back in November with plans to relocate, and the restaurant announced its new location at 714 Commonwealth Ave. in December.
Now, students and people in the neighborhood can return to this favorite spot, known for its luscious Nutella-stuffed crepes as well as its savory offerings. The restaurant announced its reopening on Facebook and on its website, sparking a flurry of excited comments.
Crispy Crêpes, which dabbles in more than just its namesake, took over the former Sal's Pizza space above a florist on Comm. Ave. Now, the restaurant will get back to the grind of churning out crêpes, omelets, pancakes, French toast, panini, wraps, salads, and pastas.
Hours at the new restaurant are 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sundays, subject to change with the school holidays.
