Inman Square will welcome a new restaurant to the mix next week when WuBurger opens its doors on May 2 in the former East by Northeast space, debuting a renovated interior and a menu full of burgers and boozy milkshakes. The Woburn-based restaurant is the work of Deepak Diwan and Kal Gullapalli.
The Inman Square restaurant will be the second in the WuBurger family, and unlike the fast-casual first location, the new one will incorporate full service and classic cocktails, craft beer, and adult milkshakes into its repertoire.
In addition to burgers, WuBurger serves a handful of sandwiches, including the "South End," which is made with fried chicken, a roast beef sandwich, and a fried eggplant sandwich. There are also hot dogs, salads, and sides.
