Los Amigos Taqueria Softly Opens in Coolidge Corner

With locations in Newtonville and West Roxbury, Los Amigos Taqueria has just debuted its third location. "We're excited to announce that we're open for a trial run this week in Brookline," the shop posted on Facebook today. The new location is at 1294 Beacon St. in Coolidge Corner, previously home to another taqueria — Boca Grande. (Los Amigos also has a Brighton location in the works in another previous Boca Grande space.)

The quick-service restaurants offer a menu of tacos, burritos, salad bowls, quesadillas, and more. All locations are open from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 9 p.m. Sunday.

Today is full of good news for Coolidge Corner: Somerville-based Union Square Donuts has just announced that it will expand to the area.
