A Florida-based pizza restaurant is getting ready to open a new location in Massachusetts, bringing the local grand total to three, with a fourth coming later this year. Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza opens on May 2 in Northborough at 2102 Shops Wy. in Northborough Crossing, bringing pizza and Italian entrees to Central Mass.
Two other Anthony's locations have opened in the last year, one in Westwood in 2015 and another in Reading in January. A Littleton restaurant is coming this summer. The chain first started in South Florida, where its namesake, Anthony Bruno, along with his father, Anthony Sr., have years of experience in the restaurant industry.
The restaurant features a wide range of crispy pizzas, wings, and dishes like meatballs, pork ribs, and calzones.
Anthony's in Northborough will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, with a full bar available.
