A Quincy pizza place that fell victim to the woes of last winter is getting ready to reopen in a different location. Unchained Pizza was forced to close when a section of the plaza it was in suffered a roof collapse, and while that building undergoes a complete rebuild, the pizza shop has set its sights on opening a new location in Dorchester.

According to its website, Unchained could open at 960 William T. Morrissey Blvd. by May 15. The restaurant is now hiring employees for the new location, including managers, assistant managers, shift leaders, pizza cooks, grill cooks, counter help, and delivery drivers.

Unchained still plans to reopen at its previous location in Adams Plaza at 550 Adams St. Construction is ongoing to rebuild the plaza, but the timeline is out of Unchained's control. "Our hope is that we will be able to re-open at the Quincy location in September, but it could be October," the website reads.

The pizza shop offers a range of pies, from cheese and pepperoni to specialties like Hawaiian, barbecue chicken, and more. There are also subs, salads, calzones, wraps, wings, and a bunch of classic appetizers, as well as pizzas with gluten-free crust.
