BELMONT — Closed since a January 7 fire in the ductwork, Il Casale's Belmont location reopens today with its full staff still onboard, "subtle" aesthetic updates (but no major changes), and a few new dishes. "We have missed seeing the faces and touching the tables of each and every one of our beloved guests," the Il Casale team wrote in an email newsletter to customers. "Our chefs have been busy setting up the line to cook your tried and true favorites, as well as introduce some new dishes. Our staff is eager to serve and awaits the moment that you fill our space with your convivial spirits." 50 Leonard St., Belmont
SOUTH END — Cafe Madeleine took a seasonal vacation throughout February but now remains closed for the month of March to deal with "damage that will take some time to repair." If all goes as planned, the reopening will be on April 1. 517 Columbus Ave., Boston
DOWNTOWN CROSSING — JM Curley has a lot of repairs to do following massive flooding due to a burst pipe last month. The team is aiming for a March reopening and also hinted at popping up somewhere for a burger night at some point. 21 Temple Pl, Boston
BROOKLINE VILLAGE — Cutty's temporarily shuttered last month to push into the adjacent space, renovations that were slated to take about two weeks. The current plan is to re-open this week; keep an eye on Cutty's Instagram account for updates and sneak peeks of the new space. 284 Washington St., Brookline
KENDALL SQUARE — An August fire caused long-term closures for four restaurants at One Kendall Square — The Blue Room, Belly Wine Bar, Flat Top Johnny's, and Beantowne Coffee House. Beantowne has been documenting its rebuilding process on Facebook and is heading for a mid-May reopening, while The Blue Room and Belly Wine Bar are also trying for May. Flat Top Johnny's — which was putting in flooring a few days ago — is shooting for mid-April. 1 Kendall Sq., Cambridge
