A new brewery will open in a not-so-new brewing space in Framingham this summer. Longtime brewer Matthew Steinberg will be the owner and brewer of Exhibit 'A' Brewing Company, and he has procured the former Jack's Abby space at 81 Morton St. for the occasion, according to Wicked Local.

Steinberg, who has previously brewed for Harpoon, John Harvard's, Rapscallion, Off Shore Brewing Company, and more, left his job at High Horse in Amherst in September and has spent the last several months working on Exhibit 'A', according to the brewery's Facebook page.

"Exhibit ‘A' Brewing is all about enjoying life's experiences, and having an enjoyable beer or three while doing what you love with your favorite people," Steinberg wrote on the page.

He plans to sell most of the brewery's beers at the taproom and in an on-site retail setup, according to Boston Magazine, and he will install a canning line. Steinberg's anticipated production volume will be more in the 1,500-2,000 barrel range, as opposed to the 20,000-barrel capacity Jack's Abby had in its final year at Morton Street, as Wicked Local reported.

Exhibit 'A' will reportedly start brewing some hoppy beers and later get into saisons, porters, and more. The brewery also has space for barrel-aging. Expect the taps to begin flowing at some point in July or August.
