Crazy Dough's Pizza has shut down its location in Harvard Square, according to Boston Restaurant Talk. The chain of local pizza shops has other restaurants around the city, including Back Bay and Brighton. There's also one in Newport, Rhode Island.
The Harvard Crazy Dough's location, which opened in the mid-1990s, was inside The Garage at 36 JFK St. As BRT reported, the restaurant's lease expired, and it decided not to renew. The location has been removed from the Crazy Dough's website and no longer has a Facebook page.
Crazy Dough's is known for its grilled pizzas that are covered in an extensive variety of topping combinations, with a create-your-own pizza option as well as a list of signature pies, like the cheeseburger bacon pizza (made with beef, smoked, bacon, mozzarella, and cheddar cheeses) and the eggplant and roasted red pepper pie. The restaurant also offers a selection of appetizers, plus calzones, salads, and more.
