Two weeks after Ribelle's chef and owner Tim Maslow was arrested at the Canadian border and charged with felony drug possession, the restaurant is making some changes. The previously Italian-leaning spot in Brookline now has a French focus, according to various posts about a new menu on the restaurant's website and on Facebook. Additionally, as of today, it will now be open for lunch Monday through Saturday and closed on Sunday.

The restaurant is also in the midst of a naming re-brand that incorporates its address, 1665 Beacon St. The website header, along with Twitter and Instagram, reflect the new name, 1665 Beacon, and its Facebook page says: "Our new name is 1665 Beacon, just can't get FB to change it for us yet!"

Maslow is cooking up a French storm in the kitchen, with dishes like soupe l'oignon, poireaux vinaigrette, beef tartare, and more now on the menu.

The restaurant is currently accepting reservations for the same day only via its website and the Reserve app.
