A prominent local burrito shop with locations all around Greater Boston has shut down its Brookline restaurant, according to Boston Restaurant TalkBoca Grande Taqueria, which first opened in Cambridge in 1986, at one point had five locations in the area.

One Boca Grande in Brighton Center closed recently while another in Kenmore shut down in 2013. With the shuttering of the Boca Grande in Coolidge Corner (1294 Beacon St.), the restaurant has two locations remaining: one near Porter Square and one near CambridgeSide Galleria.

The Brookline location is still listed on Boca Grande's website, while the Brighton spot is gone. Another local restaurant of similar style, Los Amigos, is expected to open its third location in the former Boca Grande space at 366 Washington St. in Brighton.

Calls to the business on Wednesday went unanswered, and a reason for the closure of the Coolidge Corner restaurant is unknown.
