Beverly's newest brewery opens its doors and its taps this Friday. Gentile Brewing Company is the work of Paul and Christen Gentile, who "believe good beer should be enjoyed and not fussed over."
The four main Gentile beers are made using traditional English-style brewing processes, and the team plans to experiment with small-batch releases, according to the website.
Gentile will serve a lightly malted blonde ale, which comes with this description: "We don't workout, but if we did, this is the beer we would drink afterward." The brewery will also have an IPA that has light caramel malts to complement the bitter hops, a porter made with roasted barley, and a stout that is "designed to be an easy drinking beer."
The address for Gentile is 59 Park St., and parking is available in the adjacent lot or on the street. The taproom officially opens this Friday, March 4, starting at 4 p.m. Regular taproom hours will be Fridays from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturdays from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
