Kane's Donuts Will Delight Chestnut Hill for a Month

Find it at The Street, starting February 24.

KaneKane's Donuts — a Saugus institution that expanded to downtown Boston almost a year ago — is popping up at The Pop-Up, a space at Chestnut Hill's The Street retail development (3 Boylston St.) OMG! Bagels was a previous occupant of the pop-up space. Kane's will be open tomorrow (February 24) through March 26, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.

The business has been around for more than six decades, baking up a variety of classic doughnuts as well as seasonal specialties, from egg nog to pink lemonade. The Boston proper location also offers Kane's version of cronuts — kronuts — in a couple flavors (dulce de leche filling with vanilla icing or banana cream filling with Nutella topping). "Our dad made these in the 1960s!" states the Kane's website.
