New flavors and dishes are emerging in Boston's oldest neighborhood, thanks to the work of a restaurant that opened over the weekend. Charlestown's newest resident is Prescott, an all-encompassing American restaurant with some Latin American inspiration.

Prescott opened this past Saturday with its brunch service, according to assorted social media posts. The menu — on chalkboard display inside the restaurant — includes dishes like huevos rancheros and Constitution chilaquiles, paying homage to its historical neighborhood while changing up the pace of the average American brunch.

The restaurant serves lunch during the week and brunch on weekends, according to its website. A note posted on Prescott's Facebook page following the opening weekend read: "What a wonderful opening weekend we had! A huge thank you to all of our customers! Our lunch menu will begin tomorrow to Friday. Be sure to stop by this week and grab a delicious meal!"

The restaurant may eventually open for dinner on the weekends, per a post on Facebook, and may change up its schedule in the future.

Prescott is currently open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
