A French-Asian bakery has opened near Government Center at 24 Tremont St., according to a tweet from Downtown Boston BID. Tous Les Jours, a South Korea-based bakery with numerous locations across the United States, had previously eyed an Allston location for its Boston expansion but later landed on the Tremont Street space, where work started last fall. (There's also a location inside of H Mart in Burlington.)
Tous Les Jours specializes in a mix of Korean, European, and American pastries. Things like walnut cream baguettes, honey flower bread, sweet pumpkin bread (actually shaped like a pumpkin), and milk bread abound at the new shop, which also sells assorted doughnuts, sandwiches, and a wide range of decadent cakes.
On the beverage side, Tous Les Jours offers coffee drinks, smoothies and bubble teas, and more. This location appears to source its coffee from La Colombe, according to a sign on the shop's window.
