A Theater District nightclub is temporarily closed, according to Boston Restaurant Talk. Stage Nightclub posted on its social media on January 29 that it would be closed for the weekend to make "improvements to the venue, to enhance your nightlife experience."
The American vaudeville-style venue from the Brahmin team first opened (officially) in January last year after a soft opening to test the grounds for its performance-based glitz and glam at 19 Boylston Pl., right near Emerson. Inside Stage, guests can find costumes, luxurious decor, "classic craft cocktails," and a whole host of other entertainment factors, as previously reported.
BRT reported that the club was once again closed last weekend, based on a note on Stage's website, which is now returning a "forbidden" error with each attempt to access. Eater has reached out to Stage for more details on the temporary closure.
