Article 24, which opened six months ago in Brighton (458 Western Ave.) with a fun-filled comfort food menu, has transformed its downstairs space into a new concept, Bandita Brighton, which officially opens this Wednesday, December 7.
The new sibling to Local 149, Biltmore & Main, and the Biltmore Bar & Grille is serving up “West Coast-style Mexican tapas” from Local 149 alum Wally Salguero, along with 100 different tequilas, the restaurant group announced today. (There’s a $150/glass tequila among that selection, Partida Elegante, for the high-rolling aficionados.)
Walk past 100 hand-painted skulls, plus a graffiti wall decorated by artist Jay West, to get to Bandita Brighton, which also features a lot of art by Markus Sebastiano. (Catch more of Sebastiano’s work at Local 149, Crudo, and Tavern Road.) Once inside, you can eat dishes such as carne asada fries, lobster queso, rolled tacos, and barbecue pork belly tacos. (Check out the full menu below.)
Bandita Brighton is open from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Later this month, Saturday and Sunday brunch will begin, running from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
