A new restaurant has arrived on the North Shore, bringing with it a whole lot of barbecue and comfort food. Brick & Ash is now open at 10 Center St., just around the corner from its sister restaurant, The Poynt.
The menu at Brick & Ash leans heavily towards barbecue and features dishes made in the restaurant’s smoker. Dan Miele serves as chef, having previously worked at The Cottage and The Poynt, the two other spots owned by restaurateurs John and Laura Wolfe. Peter Hansen serves as culinary director for the restaurant, bringing his experience cooking alongside Bobby Flay on Iron Chef to the table.
Brick & Ash features two bars and a dining room space, plus pool tables, a dart board, and a number of fireplaces, as previously reported. The interior was designed by Taniya Nayak of Lower Mills Tavern and Lion’s Tail, who is an HGTV alum.
The restaurant is open seven days a week from 3 p.m. to 12 a.m., with the kitchen open from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.
