A new dining spot has arrived in Downtown Boston’s Hilton hotel, months after some shuffling saw the departure of Nix’s Mate and the temporary tenure of 89 Broad. Fin Point Oyster Bar & Grille is now up and running on the hotel’s ground floor, with plenty of seafood to go around.
Nix’s Mate closed in May with plans to relocate, as previously reported. It was replaced with 89 Broad shortly thereafter, which took its name from the hotel’s address. Now, Fin Point brings in a defined seafood concept that features dishes like lobster ceviche and pan roasted chicken, plus a full raw bar and other classic New England offerings, as well as beer, wine, and cocktails. Joseph Iocovozzi serves as executive chef at Fin Point, which recently celebrated its opening night with a grand party, according to posts on Facebook.
Fin Point is open from 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 7 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Sunday.
