A restaurant headed for a mixed-use development in Brighton will open under a different name than originally planned. The proposed Seaport Grille, which is under the auspices of the Beauport Hospitality Group, will actually be called Rail Stop 96 Restaurant & Bar, according to Boston Restaurant Talk.

The Beauport group already operates a Seaport Grille in Gloucester and originally planned to expand the concept to Brighton, as previously reported, but it will now change course towards Rail Stop.

While the name has changed, the cuisine remains focused on contemporary New England cuisine, according to a job posting calling for an executive chef for the restaurant. Rail Stop at Boston Landing is slated to be a large restaurant, accommodating 274 inside with additional seasonal seating outdoors.
