A new dining spot opens today in Quincy Center, but the concept itself is well-established on the South Shore. KKatie’s Burger Bar debuts its fourth location at 1440 Hancock St., bringing its burgers, tater tots, and much more to the Quincy neighborhood.
KKatie’s opens at 5 p.m. today, as Boston Restaurant Talk noted, joining a handful of other new spots at the city’s West of Chestnut development. The team behind the restaurant, Keith Steiding and Kate McSorley, opened the first KKatie's in Plymouth in 2010 and have since added locations in Marshfield and Hyannis, as previously reported.
Quincy’s KKatie’s Burger Bar will have the restaurant’s classic lineup of burgers, including the Big KKMac, which comes topped with cheddar jack cheese, select burger fixings, and KKatie’s special sauce. There’s also a morning burger (topped with a fried egg), a double decker version, and a pickle back burger, among many others, including veggie, turkey, and gluten-free options. There are also sandwiches, appetizers, and sides, plus beer, wine, and liquor. KKatie’s will have outdoor seating during the appropriate months and live entertainment on the weekends.
