Boston’s newest cocktail bar and restaurant opens its doors tomorrow, unveiling a storybook menu in a speakeasy-style setting. Lion’s Tail puts cocktails front and center, bringing together the elaborate creations of barman Jarek Mountain (Abby Lane, Back Bay Harry’s) with the food of executive chef Diego Orsono (Restaurant Dante).

Mountain makes liberal use of spirits from local distillers in his cocktail list, which is divided into sections, including house cocktails, classics, “stirred and shaken,” and others. The cocktails anchor the beverage list, but there will also be a rotating selection of 10 bottled beers and three draft lines from local breweries, plus wines available by the glass or bottle.

Orsono’s menu has a selection of “bites” like fried green plantains and warm olives, alongside main dishes that include a burger, braised beef short rib, and a citrus-brined half chicken. There are also shareable dishes, which include a cheese and meat board, street empanadas, and a lobster tail corn dog. For dessert, a chocolate chip brownie cookie and cinnamon sugar churros round out the menu.

Here’s an opportunity to drool over the full lineup of snacks, shareable dishes, and extensive cocktails and beverages at Lion’s Tail ahead of its opening tomorrow:
