Holbrook has a new restaurant serving up some new American fare. The Brook Kitchen and Tap is now up and running in the former Lucky Lou Lou’s space at 200 S. Franklin St., according to Boston Restaurant Talk.

The new neighborhood eatery offers a full range of hearty American offerings. Appetizers include chicken wings, clam chowder, and crispy Brussels sprouts, and there is a wide selection of burgers, sandwiches, and wood-grilled pizza. The Brook Kitchen and Tap also offers salads, a range of meat and seafood entrees, and some comfort food sides like mashed potatoes, slaw, and fries. Additionally, the restaurant has a host of local craft beers and ciders on tap, including Wormtown Brewery, Downeast Cider, Jack’s Abby, Mystic, and more.

The Brook Kitchen and Tap is open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. The kitchen closes at 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and at 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, but there is a late-night menu that will be offered until 12 a.m.
