A fast-casual burger chain with a cartoonish name will see through its prior plans to expand to the Northeast. The Texas-based Mooyah Burgers, Fries & Shakes recently opened its first Massachusetts restaurant in Northborough and has three more in the works for Boston, Berlin, and Billerica, Boston Restaurant Talk reports.

The Boston restaurant will be on Centre Street in Jamaica Plain, according to a locations page on the Mooyah website. The burger chain serves beef, turkey, and veggie options, plus hot dogs with various toppings, french fries, salads, and milkshakes (no word yet on whether they’ll be called frappes in Boston), as previously reported. Mooyah will contend with other fast-casual chains in the area, including local spots like Wahlburgers and UBurger, along with Five Guys and Shake Shack.

Mooyah was founded in 2007 in Plano, TX. With locations in states including Alabama, Tennessee, California, Montana, New Jersey, Connecticut, and more, plus locations abroad in the Middle East, Canada, and Mexico, Mooyah is on track to top 150 locations this year, with 30 new restaurants in 2016 alone.
