Back in September, brothers Kosta and Johnny Diamantopoulos shared their plans to expand All Star Pizza Bar in the former Griddler’s Burgers + Dogs on the Mass. General side of Beacon Hill at 204 Cambridge St.
According to Boston Magazine, the new space will be ready to go on Friday, December 9, but not before handing out free slices to Beacon Hill customers on December 8, from noon to 5:00 p.m.
As Kosta previously explained to Eater, the transition from Griddler’s to All Star was swift because “[they didn’t] have to really make any changes other than some signage and some branding, putting [their] colors in there and figuring out how to put some murals and add some funk to it." There won’t be any major differences between the two locations, although there will be some different daily specials, and Kosta anticipated that there might be a greater desire for vegetarian-friendly options at the new location.
The Beacon Hill All Star will open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
