Troubles continue for one Boston-based fast-casual restaurant chain. Cosi has closed down another restaurant in the area, just two months after its Back Bay location shuttered, as Boston Restaurant Talk reported.
Cosi, Inc. filed for bankruptcy in September and its stock was subsequently delisted. Of Cosi’s 74 company-owned restaurants, 29 closed down, including its location at 399 Boylston St. in Back Bay. The location at 53 State St. has now followed suit and has been removed from the company’s website. Cosi’s assets are up for auction and could be sold by the end of this month.
Five locations do remain in the Boston area, however: Three are situated Downtown on Milk Street, Federal Street, and High Street, and one is in the Seaport District. There is also a Cosi at Logan Airport.
